I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
